Paediatrics Attachment for Family Physicians

Objectives :

1.

To update GPs on management of common paediatric problems

 
    2.

To emphasize the importance of growth and development of both sick and normal child

 
    3. To provide knowledge of develop-mental screening in a GP clinic
 
    4. To stress on the preventive care in paediatrics, especially immunization, nutrition and accident avoidance
 
Venue : Queen Elizabeth Hospital
       
Course Structure : The attachment will consist of 12 teaching sessions on every Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Each session will begin with 30 minutes discussion of common paediatric problems followed by bedside teaching.
       
Course Fee : HK$2,600 per doctor.
All cheques payable to "HKCFP Education Ltd" Fees are non-refundable.
       
Enrolment : Please call the College Secretary Ms Jessica Cheng at 2528 6618 for details. Small group teaching, capacity limited. Registration will be first come first served.
       
Certification : Certificate of attendance will be awarded under the names of both organizers on completion of the course (over 80% attendance is required)
     
Accreditation : Up to 15 CME Points (HKCFP QA Programme: Category 5.8) for the whole attachment
